Terms of Service
These terms apply to anyone who adds Relay to a Discord server or uses it. Relay is run by the Relay team ("we", "us"). By using Relay you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. Contact: support@getrelaybot.com.
1. The service
Relay helps Discord communities run support tickets and handle reports. We may change, add or remove features. We aim to keep Relay available, but we don't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
2. Discord's rules still apply
Relay runs on Discord, so you must follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when using it.
3. Server administrators
If you add Relay to a server, you're responsible for how it's used there, including:
- choosing who has the staff role, and so who can read tickets, notes and reports;
- the decisions your staff make in tickets and reports, which are your server's, not ours;
- telling your members how you handle support and reports, where your rules or local law require it.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Relay to:
- harass, threaten or abuse people, or to file false or malicious reports;
- send spam, scams or illegal content;
- try to access data you aren't meant to see, disrupt Relay, or get around its limits;
- collect other people's personal data beyond what's needed to handle a ticket or report.
We may limit or end Relay's use in a server, or for a user, that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk.
5. Your content
Messages and files you send through Relay remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and deliver them only as needed to run Relay, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. No warranty
Relay is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or anything arising from moderation decisions made by a server's staff. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
8. Ending use
You can stop using Relay at any time by removing it from your server. What happens to your data then is set out in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
